Cougs Set to Open Spring Racing at San Diego Crew Classic

PULLMAN, Wash. (March 26, 2026) – Washington State women's rowing is at the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay this weekend, beginning with preliminary heats on Saturday, March 28 and finals racing on Sunday, March 29.
WSU will open the first day of racing beginning at 10 a.m. with the Varsity 8+ shell, followed by the Varsity 4+ at 10:56 a.m. and the 2V 8+ at 11:04 a.m.
Sunday will entail finals racing with the Cougars scheduled to push off in the Varsity 8+ at either 9:23 a.m. or 9:43 a.m. depending on their placement after Saturday's prelim results. The Varsity 4+ finals race will be at 10:07 a.m., and the 2V 8+ at 10:15 a.m.

Following the San Diego Crew Classic, the Cougs return to Pullman for their lone home regatta of the year on Saturday, April 11 to host Gonzaga in the Fawley Cup at Wawawai Landing.
