Rowing takes on Gonzaga this Wednesday on Silver Lake

MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. – The Washington State women's rowing team heads north on U.S. Highway 195 this Wednesday, April 12, to take on Gonzaga for the annual Fawley Cup regatta. Races will be held on Silver Lake and get underway at 3:30 p.m. PT.
Regatta Information and Schedule
Washington State and Gonzaga will race in a head-to-head 2,000-meter race. The regatta will be held on Silver Lake at the Johnson Family Boathouse in Medical Lake, Washington. Races begin at 3:30 p.m. PT and will run every 10 minutes with the Fawley Cup race capping off the regatta at 4:30 p.m. PT. The schedule is subject to change.
3:30 p.m. – 5V8+/Novice 8+ A
3:40 p.m. – 3V8+
3:50 p.m. – 1V4+
4:00 p.m. – 2V4+
4:10 p.m. – 2V8+
4:20 p.m. – 5V8+/Novice 8+ B
4:30 p.m. – 1V8+ (Fawley Cup)
Fawley Cup
The Cougars and the Bulldogs will once again be racing for the Fawley Cup. The cup has been handed out annually since 1991, except for 2008, to the winner of the first varsity 8+ race between WSU and GU. The Cougs have won 27 of the 30 Fawley Cup races since its inception.
