Biography

WASHINGTON STATE CAREER

Junior (2022) – Named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team after leading WSU with 28 total points, the most by a Coug since 2019…started 18 of 19 matches for WSU, tallying a team-best 11 goals (third in Pac-12) and six assists…finished the year top-3 in Conference in points and goals, while leading the Pac-12 in shots (86) and shots on target (41)…scored WSU’s opening goal of the year in a 2-1 loss at No. 9 Michigan (Aug. 18)…registered three multi-goal matches and had a six-game streak with at least one goal or assist…scored twice against Eastern Washington (Aug. 28), adding a brace against Northern Colorado (Sept. 15), while also netting a pair of goals at Southern California (Oct. 30).

Sophomore (2021) - Played in all 21 games for the Cougs while starting nine...finished fifth on the team with four goals scored while also adding three assists for 11 points...netted her first goal of the season against Hawai'i Sept. 5... added her first career brace as well as her first career game-winning goal at Oregon State Oct. 31.

Freshman (2021 Spring) - Led the Cougars' newcomers with three goals and added a pair of assists...played in all 12 games while starting two including the season opener at Seattle U (Feb. 7)...scored her first collegiate goal at home against Eastern Washington (Feb. 12) the first of back-to-back games with a goal...scored her first Pac-12 goal against Oregon (April 11)...finished third on the team in points with eight off the bench as a super sub for the Cougs.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB CAREER

Graduated from Basha High School ... as a sophomore, scored 24 goals and posted10 assists in 20 games while leading Basha to a 16-5-1 record and a spot in the 2018 AIA Girls Soccer State Championships ... opted to focus solely on club soccer as a junior playing for the Utah Royals FC in the US Soccer Development Academy ... joined the U-18/19 team in 2018 scoring a team-best 20 goals in 29 games, finishing just outside of the league's top-10.

Margaret Detrizio-Parrett is the daughter of Camille Detrizio … she has two siblings, Camille and Deion...pursuing a major in human development.
