Freshman (2024-25)
Raced in all eight events for the Cougars as a true freshman … helped the WSU 2V8 finish first in the preliminaries at the WCC Championships (5/16-17) before placing third overall in the grand finals … finished first in the 3V8 at the Head of the Lake (11/3) … placed second in the 2V4 at the Winchell Cup (4/5) and second in the 2V8 at the Fawley Cup (4/19) … was fifth in the 2V8 at the Head of the Spokane (10/19) and sixth in the 2V8 at the Lake Wheeler Invitational (4/25).
 
Prior to Washington State
Arrived in Pullman from San Francisco, Calif., where she had been rowing for three seasons ... trained at the Pacific Rowing Club under coach Emmie Koenig, Johansen was named the club's Most Improved in 2020, her first-year rowing ... in 2021, was part of a U17 4+ boat that finished second at the Youth National Championships ... in 2023, attended the US Rowing U19 Selection Development Camp and also placed third at Summer National Championships ... was previously a goalkeeper in competitive soccer before switching to rowing during the pandemic and loved it immediately ... daughter of Genevieve Johansen and plans to study psychology at WSU.
