Krystle McKenzie Season 2016-17

WSU CAREER

SENIOR (2017-18): Medically retired before the season...remained on the bench as one of the Cougs' three captains.

JUNIOR (2016-17): Voted one of the Cougs’ three captains before the start of the season…played in 32 games…made six threes on the year including her first collegiate three against LMU (Nov. 11)…went 3-for-3 overall and 2-for-2 from deep in the WSU’s WNIT semifinal run…ended the year with 22 points, 28 rebounds, and 15 assists in just over 8.1 minutes per game.

SOPHOMORE (2015-16): Played in 10 games this season…scored first-career point from the free throw line in win over Colorado (Feb. 25)…played 29 minutes over the season…recorded a block in collegiate debut vs. UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 13)…first-career rebound against Arizona State (Feb. 19)…picked up first-career steal in win over Arizona (Jan. 8)…attempted six shots on the season.

FRESHMAN (2014-15): Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL

Named the Under-16 South Coast Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013…named Most Valuable Player of the 2012 Under-17 Australian Squad…earned Under-15 South Coast Girls Team honors in 2011 and 2012…averaged a team-best 4.8 assists-per-game for Australia at the 2012 Under-16 FIBA Junior National Championships…selected a captain of the Under-16 team in 2011 and 2012…played for the Under-18 Queensland South State team in 2013.
