HIGH SCHOOL – Played his senior season at Capital High School, earning a letter…averaged 14.3 points, 8.5 assists and seven rebounds for the Cougars before suffering season-ending collarbone injury…helped lead Capital to the 3A South Sound Conference title…named The Olympian’s 2017 All-Area Boys Basketball Player of the Year…played his first three seasons of high school at Black Hills High School, earning letters all three seasons…averaged 20.7 points per game as a junior at Black Hills HS…was a two-time 2A Evergreen Conference MVP and three-time Associated Press All-State selection, as well as a four-time all-league honoree.
PERSONAL – Born Troy James Mickelson, June of 1998 at Olympia, Wash.…father Troy and mother Julie are both teachers…has a younger brother, Matthew and older sister, Kylie…uncle Paul Moran played football at Washington…enjoys playing sports and spending time with friends.
