SOPHOMORE (2021-22) – Named a Pac-12 All-Defensive Team Honorable Mention ... one of three Cougs to play in all 37 games on the year while starting 29 contests ... finished the season with 66 blocks (9.5% block rate), the fifth most in a single-season for WSU and the second most all-time by a WSU sophomore ... became the seventh Coug in program history to record 100+ blocks finishing the season with 102 career blocks through two years ... led the team in defensive rating at 90.3 helping the team rank 27th in the country overall with a team rating of 93.3 per 100 possessions ... finished fourth on the team in scoring at 8.1 ppg on 51.0% shooting while grabbing a team best 5.8 rpg ... tied for the team lead with three double-doubles including going for 21 points (his first 20+ point effort as a Coug) and 14 rebounds in the first Apple Cup Series contest against Washington Feb. 23 ... led the team in scoring twice and rebounding 10 times ... in the NIT, finished with 9 blocks, the second most in the NIT for a Coug all-time in just four postseason games ... averaged 10.0 ppg, 6.5 rpg, and 2.3 bpg in the NIT.
FRESHMAN (2020-21) – Named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team ... one of two Cougars to play in and start all 27 games averaging 8.9 ppg, 7.2 rpg and 1.3 bpg in 24.4 mpg ... first Coug freshman to earn Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors since the award was created in 2019-20 ... finished fourth in the Pac-12 in rebounding (7.3 pg) and fifth in defensive rebounding (4.9pg) while his 1.3 bpg ranked sixth in the conference and tied for the best mark for a Coug freshman in program history ... posted his first career double-double against Montana State tallying 19 points and 15 rebounds in a dominant effort ... became the first Cougar to record 15+ rebounds in a game since Drick Bernstine, vs. Bethune-Cookman, Dec. 22, 2017 ... first Coug since 1994 to grab 14+ rebounds in back-to-back games after nabbing 14 against Prairie View A&M ... tallied three-straight double-doubles when he went for 15 points and 12 rebounds against Northwestern St. joining all-time great Steve Puidokas (1974) as the only freshmen in program history to record three-straight double-doubles ... posted the third most double-doubles all-time for a Coug Freshman behind Steve Puidokas (11) and Mark Hendrickson (8) with five on the year ... tied for 2nd on the freshman top-10 blocks list with 36 blocks ...shot 81.1% from the line, ranking as the best mark all-time for a WSU freshman and the only freshman in program history to shoot over 80%.
PRIOR TO WSU – Joined the Cougars out of the NBA Global Academy in Canberra, Australia ... originally from Nigeria, the high-flying big man moved to Australia to train at the Basketball Australia's Centre of Excellence at the Australian Institute ... started with The NBA Academy Africa, the first of its kind on the continent ... played against top competition throughout the year while having the opportunity to travel teams and play in international tournaments and exhibition games ... went viral at 15 winning a dunk contest at the NBA Academy in Africa.
