JUNIOR (2014-15) – Played in 16 games for the Cougars…averaged 5.8 minutes, 1.1 rebounds and 0.8 points per game…scoring 2 points in his first game with the Cougars at UTEP (Nov. 14)…played a career-high 19 minutes against TCU (Nov. 17) and collected a career-high 2 assists, along with tying his career-high with 2 points…grabbed a career high 3 rebounds at home against Idaho State (Nov. 21), adding his first career blocked shot …tied his career high twice more with 2 points against UC Davis (Dec. 28) and at Utah (Jan. 21)…had his other blocked shot of his career at Utah.

PRIOR TO WSU – Played basketball at East Los Angeles College for two seasons, serving as captain both his freshman and sophomore years under head coach John Mosley… earned all-conference honors as a FRESHMAN at ELAC…as a SOPHOMORE, averaged 15.2 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks a game as team finished with a 20-9 overall record and 9-4 conference mark…team fell in overtime the 2014 CCCAA SoCal Regional Quarterfinals…was named the 2013-14 South Coast Conference Player of the Year and all-State…attended both Canyon Springs HS and Rancho Verde HS, graduating from RVHS in 2011.

PERSONAL – Born Aaron Cheatum, September of 1993 in Los Angeles…father Anthony and mother Brenda Cheatum…has one older brother, Anthony, an older sister, Brianna and younger sisters Brianne and Brittan…plans to pursue a degree in psychology…transferred from Washington State following his junior season in 2014-15.
