Coach Garcia Rosado Selected for Men’s Final Four Event
March 25, 2026 | Men's Basketball
PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State men's basketball assistant coach Pedro Garcia Rosado was selected to the 2026 Silver Waves Media Rising Stars Power Lunch to be held at the 2026 Men's Final Four in Indianapolis, Indiana, the organization announced Wednesday morning.
The event will recognize 59 impactful coaches throughout the American college and professional basketball ranks, bringing them together for a collaborative event surrounding the Division-I men's basketball championship.
Garcia Rosado recently completed his second season with WSU, implementing a dynamic offense which has rewritten the Cougar record book. In his first season on the Palouse, Garcia Rosado led the Cougs to single-season program records with 574 assists on 968 field goals. The 2024-25 Cougars also scored the second-most points in program history, while shooting 49.1% from the floor, the second-best percentage by a Wazzu team.
This season, Garcia Rosado helped Wazzu to its fourth-best scoring season in its 125-year history with the fifth-best shooting percentage by a Cougar team. WSU made 303 three-pointers this season, more than all but three teams in program history. The Cougs were also efficient from the free throw line, shooting at 74.2 percent, seventh in all-time single-season history.
