SENIOR (2023): Appeared in 32 games, 23 as a starter…went 13-for-83 (.157) with six doubles, one home run, two stolen bases, 13 runs scored and 13 RBI…recorded three multiple-hit games and four sacrifice bunts…doubled twice and scored three runs in win over UC Riverside (2/18) in Arizona…started all four games at Tony Gwynn Legacy in San Diego; had two hits against UC Irvine (2/24), doubled and had three RBI in win at San Diego State (2/24), had RBI-single and walked twice in comeback win over UNLV (2/27)…walked three times and scored twice in win over Southern Indiana (3/4)…hit go-ahead two-run home run in win at No. 15 Oregon State (3/11)…doubled twice and drove in two runs against Oregon (3/18)…had RBI-single and scored at USC (3/26)…had RBI-single in win at Seattle U (4/12)…walked twice and scored a run against Arizona (4/16).

Attended Mercer Island High School in Washington…three-year letterwinner for head coach Dominic Woody….earned all-state and all-league honors as a senior after batting .486 with three home runs, six doubles, three triples and 25 RBI. Named league MVP as a senior…named to the Seattle Times All-Area Team as a senior…named First-Team All-State and First-Team All-League as a junior after batting .408 with five doubles, one triple, 24 runs batted in and five stolen bases….408 batting average as a junior led the Kingco conference…batted .291 as a sophomore, adding one double, one triple, 10 RBI and a stolen base.
PERSONAL
Born in Miami, Fla….parents, Jennell and Robin Fuchs…two brothers, Chris and Nick, and one sister, Kate….biggest athletic thrill is playing in the 2012 Little League Regional Semifinals, appearing on ESPN…member of National Honor Society and National League of Young Men….served in the community by coaching flag football and serving as a student mentor and buddy to children with special needs in high school.
