In addition to their athletic and academic pursuits, senior student-athletes were busy preparing for life after WSU at the Professional Development Kickoff event last week inside the Cougar Football Complex.
The event, organized by the Student-Athlete Development department, is designed to assist in the preparation for graduation and life after college.
Presentations were given discussing job-interviewing skills and graduate school information. Furthermore, student-athletes began the process of creating their professional portfolio, including resume development and a professional photo to include in the publication. The portfolio is produced to link student-athletes with potential employers and assist with the transition from a collegiate student-athlete to a working professional.
