POSTGAME NOTES
--Freshman Aron Baynes, junior transfer Antonio Chavers, and senior Randy Green each started for the first time this season.
--Junior transfer Rodney Edgerson and freshman Caleb Forrest both came off the bench in the first half, while walk-on Josh Rasmussen came off the bench in the second half to make their Cougar debuts
--Randy Green missed a free throw attempt in the first half, ending his 17 consecutive free throws made streak dating back to Jan. 10, 2004.
--Cougars held the Vandals to just 16 points in the first half, the fewest points allowed in a half this season...last time was against Idaho last season, when the Cougars led 22-16 at the half.
--WSU made 3-of-4 field goals to start the game, then missed nine straight shots from the field over a 7:33 span until Josh Akognon's layup with 9:00 remaining in the first half gave the Cougars a 15-10 lead.
--Idaho missed its last 11 field goals attempts of the first half over the final 12:32...Vandals scored their last seven points of the half at the line...Idaho made it second shot of the second half at the 18:05 mark.
--Vandals scored 16 points and committed 14 fouls in the first half.
--WSU's Antonio Chavers tallied a career/season-high 10 points.
--WSU sophomore Chris Henry shot a career-high eight points, and tallied a career-high five rebounds.
