PAC-12 CHAMPION
WSU CAREER. JUNIOR (2013-14): Indoor - Opened season with high jump PR of 1.78m/5-10i at WSU Open I (1/18/14, Pullman)…cleared that height again two more times in season…triple jumped PR distance of 12.63m/41-5 1/4i at Don Kirby Elite Invite (2/15/14, Albuquerque)…at MPSF Championships took third place in triple (12.29m/40-4i) but no-height in the high jump…Outdoor - Struggled with minor injuries and illness most of season…first major meet was Pac-12 Championships...leaped to a PR and winning high jump of 1.82m/5-11 1/2 (5/17/14, Pullman)…mark is seventh-best in WSU all-time…next day triple jumped PR of 12.83m/42-1 1/4w for second place at conference meet (5/18/14, Pullman)…also had non-wind-aided PR of 12.60m/41-4 1/4…at NCAA West Region Prelims triple jumped 12.49m/40-11 3/4 for 18th…named to Pac-12 All-Academic track and field second team…named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team.
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2013-14):Indoor - Spend first portion of season training after arriving in January 2013…triple jumped 11.40m/37-5i for 10th place at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships (2/23/13, Seattle)…Outdoor - Long jumped 5.05m/16-7 at WSU-UW Dual meet…led team in triple jump with leap of 12.46m/40-10 1/2 at Cougar Invitational (4/20/13, Pullman)…at Pac-12 Championships cleared PR in high jump of 1.75m/5-8 3/4 for ninth place, and triple jumped 11.89m/39-0 1/4w for 10th place…at NCAA West Prelims triple jumped 11.89m/39-0 1/4 for 41st place.
PRE-WSU CAREER. Attended Southland Girls’ High School…competed in netball, basketball, volleyball and tennis…received Gold Academic Medal in 2010 for excellence…2011-12 studied architecture at Victoria University…at the New Zealand Track and Field Championships (March 2012), won the gold medal in W20 triple jump, and the bronze in both the SW triple jump and W20 high jump as a member of the Southland (province) Athletics team.
PERSONAL. Born in September 1992, in Invercargill, New Zealand…father Justin is a veterinarian…mother Lee is a nurse…older sister Gabby…younger brother George…majoring in general humanities at WSU.
