Big Ten Invite Next On-Deck for Rowing Squad

PULLMAN, Wash. (April 16, 2026) – Washington State women's rowing is at the Big Ten Invite on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif. this weekend for three racing sessions April 18 and 19.
This event features some of the top boats in the nation, with WSU going head-to-head with No. 9 California, No. 20 UCLA, and No. 23 Indiana, as well as a rematch with conference foe Gonzaga.
The first racing session for the Cougars begins at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 18 with the 2V4 pushing off, followed by the 1V4 at 10:40 a.m., the 2V8 at 10:50 a.m., and the 1V8 at 11 a.m.
WSU returns to the water later that evening with the 2V4 racing at 5:20 p.m., the 1V4 at 5:30 p.m., the 2V8 at 5:40 p.m., and the 1V8 at 5:50 p.m.
The Cougars will wrap up the event Sunday morning, again with the 2V4 opening things up at 9:04 a.m., and then the 1V4 goes at 9:12 a.m., the 2V8 at 9:20 a.m., and the 1V8 at 9:28 a.m. to round out the weekend.

Following the Big Ten Invite, the Cougs will have a weekend off from opposing competition before heading to Dexter Lake to take on Oregon State in a dual regatta and battle for the Winchell Cup.
