Rowing Has Three Named to FSN Watchlist

PULLMAN, Wash. (Feb. 5, 2026) – Washington State women's rowing had three athletes named to the 2026 For Stars Network watchlist Thursday morning.
Sam Eden, Lis Ana Johansen, and Elsie Talbot are the three Cougars on what id the third annual FSN Watchlist for Division I women's rowing ahead of the 2026 collegiate rowing season.
Eden is currently in her senior season after transferring to WSU from SMU ahead of the 2024-25 season. Before SMU, she rowed in New Zealand, first at Cambridge Rowing Club and then with Waikato Rowing Club, also in New Zealand.
Johansen is in her sophomore season with the Cougs, and is originally from San Francisco, California where she rowed with the Pacific Rowing Club.
Talbot in also in her sophomore season at Wazzu, and is from Geraldine, New Zealand where she rowed at Craighead.
The Cougars open their championship season at the San Diego Crew Classic (March 28-29) and then host Gonzaga for the Fawley Cup on April 11 at Wawawai Landing in Colton, Wash.
