BREMERTON, Wash. (May 14, 2025) – Washington State junior
Sam Renner shot an even-par, 72, his best round of the three-day event, at the 2025 NCAA Bremerton Regional Championships, played Wednesday at the par-72, 7,167-yard Olympic Course at Gold Mountain.

Renner's final round gave him a 54-hole score of 3-over, 219, tied for 27th in 78-player field.

Renner, playing in his first NCAA Championship event, improved his score each day, shooting, 74, 73, 72, respectively over the past three days. He sputtered on his first hole Wednesday with a double bogey followed by four-straight pars. Two birdies sandwiched around a pair of bogeys had him 2-over after the first nine holes.

On the back side, Renner was a model of consistency, mixing in two birdies on 12 and 14, around seven pars to finish his first NCAA Regional Championship with an even-par, 72.

The 2025 NCAA Bremerton Regional Championship brings an end to Renner's season, one of the finest in program history. Renner's season included many highlights, including:
- Lowest single-season scoring average in school history (70.67)
- Lowest career scoring average in school history (71.52)
- Back-to-back tournament titles for the first time in school history
- 25 of his 36 rounds at par or better
- 14 rounds in the 60's
- 2025 All-West Coast Conference First Team selection
- Only the fourth WSU men's golfer to play in an NCAA Regional as an individual
