Men?s Golf Wraps up Second Round

MAUI, Hawaii – The Washington State men's golf team is in 17th (+33, 601) after the second round of play at the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational, Saturday, at the Royal Ka'anapali Course.
WSU shot 19-over par in the second round and is 44 strokes back of leader No. 13 Oklahoma (-11, 557). No. 12 Georgia is in second at 563 (-5), and No. 35 NC State rounds out the top three at 565 (-3).
Sophomores Zach Anderson and Derek Bayley are tied for 36th (+5, 147) and 43rd (+6, 148), respectively. Anderson shot 6-over par (77) in the second round and is 13 strokes back of leader Zach Healy of Georgia (-8, 134). Bayley shot a second-round 78.
Senior Evan Omelia is tied for 70th after shooting 6-over par (77) on the day to bring his two-round score to 152 (+10). Freshmen Grant Cole and Aaron Whalen are tied for 84th (+14, 156) and 96th (+17, 159), respectively.
