WSU CAREER: Enters second year as a member of the women's rowing team...competed with the nationally ranked varsity eight during freshmen year.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Graduated from Stromstad Gymnasium in June, 1997...in 1995 and 1996, rowed in the Junior World Championships...in 1997, 1998, 1999, and during 2000 was a part of the Nation's Cup, placing as high as fourth both in 1999 and 2000...took first place in the 1999 Swedish Championships, and in 2001 placed second in the Nordic Championships.
PERSONAL: Gunilla Grafnings...born October 6, 1978 at Siljamsnas, Sweden to father Nisse, and mother Kershn...has one older sister, Ulrika...loves hiking, fishing, and forestry...plans to major in psychology.
