You can join the CAF with a minimum donation of $100 ($8.34/month) to the annual fund. The annual deadline to renew your CAF membership is June 30.
The Cougar Athletic Fund membership year runs from July 1 - June 30.
Annual fund contributions are directed to support student-athlete scholarships and the cost of their experience at Washington State University. The CAF offers other areas to support by directing funds to capital projects, endowments, sport specific, and other programs.

Yes, each sport program has their own Excellence Fund. Giving to a specific sports' Excellence Fund gives coaches the flexibility to address their program’s most important needs, including support for Institutional Revenue Share opportunities. Institutional revenue sharing is essential to attracting and retaining top talent, strengthening rosters, and ensuring WSU remains a leader in the Pac-12 and competitive on a national level.
Please note: Donations to a team’s Excellence Fund do not apply toward Cougar Athletic Fund (CAF) membership requirements or football/basketball season ticket and parking priorities. Team Excellence Fund donations are tax-deductible.
PRIORITY ALLOCATION & RANK
Priority is based on annual giving level first then CAF rank within the level. A priority structure allows for the Cougar Athletic Fund to objectively reward loyal and generous supporters of WSU student-athletes.
CAF rank is determined by an individual’s priority points and used to rank within each annual giving level. Priority points are accumulated based on giving to the CAF, consecutive years of membership, and purchases of season tickets for football and men’s basketball.
All membership gifts that are submitted to the CAF between July 1 and the date of the re-rankings will be counted toward the member’s current year membership level for ranking purposes.

The Cougar Athletic Fund re-ranks donors quarterly. Additional re-ranks may occur for a priority ticket deadline for postseason ticket allocation. Ranking is by annual giving level first then CAF rank within the level.
