In 2025-26, Assistant Coach Donald Brady entered his second season with WSU, continuing his role on Head Coach David Riley’s staff. During his first two seasons, Brady helped the Cougars earn 31 wins while contributing to a program that emphasized offensive production. Washington State averaged 76.1 points and 34.3 rebounds per game, continuing to build on the foundation Brady helped establish within his first season in the Palouse.
In 2024-25, Brady helped lead the Cougars to a 19-15 overall record in his first season at WSU following head coach David Riley’s arrival from Eastern Washington University. The Cougars set school records with 968 field goals and 574 assists while earning a postseason berth, marking the program’s fourth consecutive postseason appearance.
Donald Brady joined the Cougar men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024-25 season, joining Head Coach David Riley in his first season on the Palouse. Brady joined the Eastern staff in July 2023 as an assistant coach after a five-year tenure as head coach at Bellevue College, where he led the Bulldogs to the NWAC Championship game twice and won in 2023, earning conference Coach of the Year honors. Prior to Bellevue, he was head coach at Shoreline Community College for two years, an assistant at Bellevue for five and an assistant at the University of the Redlands (D-III) for two. He played at the Redlands from 2003-06, including two years as captain, and (as of 2023) ranks 6th in program history in assists.
