Kingston Fernandez

Kingston Fernandez enters his fourth season with Washington State Football and his first as the program’s Director of Player Relations.
Fernandez arrived in Pullman in 2022 after spending the 2021 season coaching at Willamette University in Oregon. In his first three seasons, he has served as the assistant director of operations and now oversees player development and engagement in his new role.
A former Cougar defensive lineman, Fernandez played five seasons at Washington State from 2014–18, lettering twice and contributing to four consecutive bowl teams. He appeared in eight games on the 2016 Holiday Bowl team, played in four games during the 2017 Holiday Bowl season, and capped his career with the record-setting 2018 squad that posted 11 wins and earned a victory in the Alamo Bowl.
Fernandez graduated from Kapolei High School, where he earned All-State honors as a senior and was rated the No. 2 overall prospect in Hawai‘i for the 2014 class.
Fernandez graduated with his BA in Social Sciences from Washington State in 2018. He and his wife, Miranda, reside in Pullman with their son Kashton.
