STURM'S WSU CAREER. FRESHMAN (2020): Appeared in one match during her first season with the Cougars...Recorded one service ace against California during a home contest and totaled 1.0 point as well.
STURM'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Sturm was a three-sport athlete while attending Mead High School, which included volleyball, track & field, and basketball. Castan earned a number of awards during her senior season which included First-Team All-League, All-State Sportsmanship Award, NECA and IBEW Greater Spokane League Student-Athlete Award, Blue and Gold Alumni Award and finally was a Spokane Shining Start nominee. Sturm posted an overall impressive stat line during her senior campaign as well with 431 digs, 36 service aces, nearly seven digs per set, and recorded a career-high of 42 digs in a single match.
PERSONAL: Born July of 2002...Has two siblings, McKenzie (22) and Gregg (21)...Chose WSU because of the volleyball coaching staff...Plans to major in biology while attending Washington State University
