VANDER TUIG’S WSU CAREER. SOPHOMORE (2016): Played in one set and tallied three assists vs. Maryland Eastern Shore......in 2015 made collegiate debut versus Northwestern State with four assist attempts...saw action in two sets...younger sister of two-year letterwinner Cougar MB Ashley Vander Tuig who retired before 2016 season due injury.
 
FRESHMAN (2015): Collegiate debut in one set vs. Northwestern State 9/18...had four assist attempts...saw action in two sets.
 
VANDER TUIG’S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned nine varsity letters at Central Valley Christian…three letters as a setter for volleyball coach Meghan Warkentin…four letters as a sprinter for track coach Mike Hackbarth…one letter in basketball for coach Hackbarth…one letter in cross country for coach Scott Kostelyk…competed at the state cross country championships as a freshman…Cavaliers volleyball team won the 2013 CIF Central Section Division III state and then captured the 2014 CIF Central Section Division II state championship for the school’s 12th championship in the past 16 years…named first team All-Central Sequoia League in 2014…selected to 2014 Times-Delta/Advance-Register All-Tulare Country second team.
