Washington State has been selected into in eight consecutive NCAA Tournaments (18 overall) and is one of only 12 programs in the nation to have accomplished this feat while making the second round at least seven of those eight appearances. The Cougars were the only Pac-12 team to finish in the top five of the conference each of the last six seasons, and the Cougars were also the only program in the Pac to make it into each of the last eight NCAA Tournaments (2016-23). Washington State’s 26-8 record in 2023 was its highest win total since 1997 with the Cougars reaching a program-best No. 11 final AVCA Top-25 ranking.
