Volleyball Rounds Out Coaching Staff for 2026

PULLMAN, Wash. – (May 19, 2026) – Washington State women's volleyball Head Coach Korey Schroeder has announced the hiring of two new members to the program's coaching staff.
Jeff Ross has been hired on as Associate Head Coach, while Keith Saito has been added as Assistant Coach.
Jeff Ross – Associate Head Coach
Ross joins the Cougars after spending the last 10 years as Head Coach at Douglas College, while also serving as an assistant coach at the University of British Columbia.
During his time at Douglas College, he has led the program to two PACWEST Championships. Ross is also a 3-time PACWEST Coach of the Year, and was named CCAA Coach of the Year for the 2021-22 season. He holds a 122-69 record over his 10 seasons at the helm at Douglas College, good for a .639 winning percentage.
In addition to collegiate coaching, Ross has also spend time coaching with Team Canada, was named a Volleyball Canada NEXT GEN Assistant Coach in 2021, and assisted the U21 Canadian National Team in 2025.

Keith Saito – Assistant Coach
Saito comes to Pullman following three years on staff at the University of Florida as a technical coordinator where he handled all statistical analysis and video feedback.
Prior to Florida, he spent the 2022 season as technical coordinator at the University of Missouri and the 2020-2021 seasons as a volunteer assistant/video coordinator at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Saito has also spent time as an analyst for the USA Women's National Collegiate Tryouts.
Saito has spent time coaching at Gainesville Juniors in Gainesville, Florida as well as Premier Nebraska Volleyball Club in Omaha, Nebraska, and spent two years as a varsity assistant coach at Papillion-La Vista High School in Papillion, Nebraska.
Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Saito graduated from Creighton University in 2018 with a degree in Exercise Science and obtained a Master's degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration in 2020 from Concordia University Irvine.
