Biography

RIGONI’S WSU CAREER. Transferred to WSU in January 2016…practiced and played with WSU team during Spring 2016…JUNIOR (2016): Setting in WSU’s 6-2 scheme this season with four-year starter Haley MacDonald...had 4.95 assists per set...career-high 13 digs and 29 assists at Baylor...served three aces in 3-1 win over UC Irvine...10 digs in sweep of Long Beach State...had 24 assists two aces and four digs in 3-1 win over Wyoming...career-high 31 assists in NCAA First Round win over Marquette...1.66 dps average...six double-doubles this year.
 
RIGONI’S PRE-WSU CAREER. FRESHMAN (2014): At Eastern Washington University, played in 27 of 29 matches with 10 starts and a total of 99 sets played…second on team in assists with 451 with most of season part of 6-2 offense…third-best on team with 16 aces…also had 119 digs…served a career-high four aces at Idaho…named to Big Sky All-Academic team...SOPHOMORE (2015): Started all 28 of EWU’s matches this season…only Eagle to see time in all 103 sets…career-high 60 assists at North Dakota and career-high 18 digs at Portland State…tallied 771 assists (7.49 assists per set)…season stats include 20 service aces and 220 digs (2.14 digs per set)…team-best seven double-doubles, six of which came during Big Sky play.
 
RIGONI’S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Earned four varsity letters at Southridge High School and Valley Catholic High School as setter/outside hitter in volleyball for coaches Justin Denham and Brooke Mayo…career stats were: 1,124 assists, 579 kills, 537 digs, 124 aces and 79 blocks...two-time All-Metro League All-Around first team honors…senior year named to Oregonian all-state first team…named Metro League Player of the Year...earned invitation to train with USA Volleyball…on 2013 High Performance Team Red…played for Oregon Juniors and Adidas Northwest Club Teams.
