SOPHOMORE (2024): Appeared in all 28 matches for the Cougs at libero position … led team and was sixth in the WCC with 430 total digs and 3.84 digs per set … recorded a career-high 27 digs at Omaha (9/1) … tallied career-best 10 assists against Portland (10/3) … served up career-high six aces against San Francisco (11/27).
FRESHMAN (2023): Appeared in 23 matches with two starts in her first season of college volleyball on the Palouse... She had a season-high seven digs in wins over BYU (9/8) and Arizona (9/24)... Served out the final five points of the Cougars' five-set win on the road at Arizona (9/24)... Finished with a season-high three aces in the Cougs' win over Arizona (9/24).
BEFORE WSU:
Helped lead Italy to a runner-up finish at the 2021 U18 FIVB World Championships where she was also voted the tournament's Best Libero... Was a part of Italian team that finished fourth in the 2020 girls' U17 European Championship while also being voted best libero in the tournament... Spent two years with Club Italia in the Italia Women's Serie 2 league from 2020-2022, before moving up the Women's Serie A1 where she spent the 2022-23 season playing for Vallefoglia.
PERSONAL: Emma is originally from Asti Italy... She has one sister, Sofia, and is the daughter of Elisabetta Berrera and Massimo Barbero.
