Berke Tinaz joined Washington State Women's Rowing as a volunteer assistant coach in the spring of 2024.
Prior to Washington State University, he was a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Vermont for 5.5 years while earning his Ph.D. At UVM, he coached both men's and women's teams. During his time at UVM, Berke coached boats that secured podium finishes at ACRA including a national championship in the women's pair.
Berke earned his bachelor's degree from Skidmore College where he was a four-year member of the rowing team and currently works as a Senior Scientist in Pullman.
