WSU CAREER:
FRESHMAN (2021):Â Indoor - Made his indoor debut in the mile (4:16.93, 25th) at the UW Preview (1/15) and debuted in the 3000m at the UW Invite (1/28-29), finishing at 8:24.68... Hit a season-best at the Pac-12 Invitational, finishing 23rd in the 3000m at 8:22.91... Outdoor - Finished with a season-best time in his first 1500m of his career at the Baldy Castillo Invitational (3/18-19) where he placed seventh overall in 3:51.20... Tallied five top-10's on the outdoor season in the steeplechase including a season-best finish of second overall at the Fresno State Invitational (4/29-30) at a then lifetime-best 8:48.05... He dropped his PR in the 5000m at the Pac-12 Championships (5/13-15) to 14:29.37 and also finished eighth in the steeplechase (8:48.66) at his first-career outdoor conference championships... He capped off his stellar first year with a PR in the steeplechase (8:45.28) to finish 16th at the NCAA West Preliminary Round.
