Freshman (2022-23) – Used redshirt option in his first year at WSU.
HIGH SCHOOL - Alongside twin brother Braden, led Aspen High School to a perfect 27-0 record and 8-0 record in the Western Slope League, en route to the 3A Colorado State Championship, Aspen’s first in school history...as the Skiers’ starting stretch guard, Korpela led the team with an average of 15.6 points per game, while shooting 54% from the field...Korpela was named to the 2021-22 Colorado Boy’s Basketball All-State First Team, along with his brother Braden, while Aspen’s coach Cory Parker was named the Colorado 3A Coach of the Year for the undefeated season.
