Visesio “Junior” Salt

Visesio “Junior” Salt is in his first season as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Washington State.

Prior to WSU, Salt was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for Utah State’s football team in 2019 and an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Westminster College in 2018.

Salt was a two-year starter at offensive guard at Utah, spending his senior season of 2014 as a captain. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Utah in 2015.

Salt graduated with an associate’s degree in kinesiology from Mt. San Antonio College, where he was tabbed a two-time All-American on the offensive line, helping the Mounties to an undefeated season in 2010 (13-0) and national championship.

Salt is certified in CPR/AED and is a certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.

Salt, who played one season in the Arena Football League and one season in the Indoor Football League, served a mission to Tonga (2007-09) for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Ariana, have a daughter, Moeata and a son, Wolf.
