FRESHMAN (2024): Redshirt season…appeared in seven games, four during the regular season and three during the playoffs…rushed for 176 yards and one touchdown, averaged 6.1 yards-per-carry on 29 carries…caught five passes for 19 yards…averaged 21.6 yards on five kickoff returns for 108 yards…had one punt return…rushed for 61 yards on six carries and caught two passes against Augustana…rushed for 40 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries against Murray State…rushed for 51 yards at Missouri State…had a 24-yard kickoff return against Montana and at North Dakota State.

Maxwell was tabbed as Minnesota Mr. Football and the Associated Press Player of the Year in leading Chanhassen High School to the 2023 Class 5A state title ... also named the Twin Cities Metro Player of the Year by both the Minneapolis Star Tribune and KARE 11 TV ... accumulated 2,465 all-purpose yards and scored 27 touchdowns as a senior.
