Mike Iupati begins his first season on Head Coach Jimmy Rogers’ staff as an assistant offensive line coach.
 
Following an NFL career that spanned 11 seasons, Iupati has moved into the coaching ranks. His first position came in 2022 at the College of Idaho, where he spent two seasons as an assistant offensive line coach. In 2023, he helped College of Idaho to a 10-3 record and a spot in the NAIA Championship semifinals, a first in program history.
 
Iupati spent 11 years in the NFL after being a first-round draft pick (#17 overall), by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2010 NFL Draft. He spent five years in San Francisco, four with Arizona before closing his career in Seattel for two seasons. During his career, Iupati started 139 of 140 games on the offensive line, was selected to the Pro Bowl four times and was named the Pro Football Writers Association 2010 All-Rookie Team. He also earned First-Team All-Pro honors with San Francisco in 2012 and Second-Team honors in 2015 with Arizona.
 
As a collegian, Iupati was a consensus All-American in 2009 at the University of Idaho, where he led Idaho to the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl Championship. That season he was also an All-Western Athletic Conference First-Team selection while being a finalist for the Outland Trophy
 
In 2022, Iupati was inducted into both the Idaho Vandal and Polynesian Football Halls of Fame.
