Played three seasons on varsity at Monroe HS…senior year helped team to a 9-2 record, 6-0 in district, and a spot in the 3A Football State championship…in six games that season, rushed for 460 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 5.9 yards per carry…earned All-WESCO first-team honors…added seven receptions for 164 yards and two touchdowns…as a junior, played in 10 games, averaging 8.5 yards per carry while scoring two touchdowns…sophomore season played in seven games, rushing 13 times for 54 yards and two scores.
