Bobo Brayton Honored

Washington State Cougar legend Bobo Brayton was honored Wednesday as the recipient of the Royal Brougham Legends Award at the 79th Annual MTR Western Sports Star of the Year awards.
The annual event, sponsored by the Seattle Sports Commission, honors the state of Washington's athletes. The Royal Brougham Award is given to an individual for a lifetime of achievement in sports and who exemplifies the spirit of the state. The award was accepted by Bobo's son, Fritz.

The Cougars presence at the event extended beyond Bobo. Pac-12 Soccer Player of the Year Micaela Castain was a Female Sports Star of the Year nominee.
