Attended Rogers High, where he was coached by Steve Gervais...earned three varsity letters each in football and basketball and one in track...during JUNIOR season named to the All-SPSL first team as a defensive back and to the second team as a receiver...league’s defensive back of the year...named to the all-area team by the Tacoma News Tribune...SENIOR year named to the All-South Puget Sound League first team as a receiver and to the second team as a defensive back...all-area pick by the TNT and a second team Associated Press All-State selection, all as a receiver...also selected as a Northwest Nuggett and Western 100 by the TNT and received All-West recognition by Prep Star Magazine...caught 52 passes, including eight for touchdowns...received three votes in the Long Beach Press-Telegram’s Best in the West poll...All-State second team selection by Newberry’s Prep Report.

FRESHMAN (1998-99): Attended Snow Junior College in the fall...started the first game and suffered a separated shoulder, which limited his playing time for the rest of the season...ended the year with six receptions...in January, 1999, left Snow and transferred to Oakland JC in Michigan following a coaching change at Snow.

SOPHOMORE (1999-2000): Completed work on AA degree in the fall, then transferred to WSU...did not play football.
DILLON'S WSU CAREER
SOPHOMORE (2000-01): V-letter… Games - 6…Started - 0…enrolled in January (2000) and participated in spring drills…after playing in WSU’s first six games on several special team units, suffered a broken collar bone against Arizona and missed the final five games…finished the campaign with three tackles, one each against Utah, Idaho and Boise State…most playing time came as a member of several special team units.
JUNIOR (2001-02): V-letter…Games - 10…Starts - 0…action limited to special team play…had two tackles against both Stanford and Montana State…did not play against California, nor in the Sun Bowl against Purdue.
