Harrison, Brink Pace Cougs on Day 1 at WCC Championships

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (April 25, 2026) – Senior Hannah Harrison and sophomore Agnes Brink led Washington State Women's Golf on day one of the West Coast Conference Championships Saturday.

Harrison and Brink each led the way with rounds of two-over 74 to sit tied for 13th, just one stroke back of a tie for seventh while freshman Kaitlyn Helm is one shot back at three-over and tied for 22nd. Junior Sara Pineros is tied for 25th while sophomore Grace Rubelsky is tied for 29th after the first 18 holes.

Through the first round, WSU is fifth, just one stroke back of Augusta and three back of Santa Clara for third place

The Course and Tournament Format
The WCC Championships will be played at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, Calif., the same course as last season.

The course will play as a par-72 at 6,174 yards.
Eight teams will play 18 holes each day.

Helm Chasing Freshman Record
Freshman Kaitlyn Helm enters the WCC Championships averaging 73.96 per round this season, currently the WSU Single-Season record for a freshman (74.03, Alice Johansson, 2023-24).
