Kaitlyn Helm Earns All-West Coast Conference Accolades

SAN RAMON, Calif. (April 30, 2026) – Washington State Women's Golf Freshman Kaitlyn Helm was named All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention, as voted on by the conference's coaches, the league office announced Thursday.

Helm capped her freshman season with a Top-10 finish at last week's West Coast Conference Championships, finishing tenth at five-over, tying for the tenth-best three-round score at a conference championship in program history. Helm's final round of 73 lowered her season average to 73.92, breaking the WSU Freshman single-season record for scoring average.

Helm, a Preseason All-West Coast Conference selection, led the Cougars with four Top-15 finishes during the season including a pair of Top-8 finishes in the fall. Helm was atop the leaderboard for most of the Badger Invitational before tying for third highlighted by an opening-round 66, tying the WSU single-round record by a freshman and tied for the second-lowest round by all players in program history. Helm tied for No. 13 at The Blessings Collegiate in Arkansas and closed the fall tying for eighth at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Hawaii highlighted by an opening-round 68.
