Helm Charges into Top-10 on Day 2 at WCC Championships

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (April 26, 2026) – Freshman Kaitlyn Helm moved into the Top-10 on day two of the West Coast Conference Championships Sunday.

Helm recorded third birdies to card a second-round one-over 73 to move into a tie for tenth. Senior Hannah Harrison joins Helm in the Top-25 after finishing the second round tied for 24th and eight over. Junior Sara Pineros and sophomore Agnes Brink are tied for 26th at nine-over while sophomore Grace Rubelsky is tied for 30th and ten over.

Through two rounds, WSU sits fifth, just five strokes back of Augusta for fourth.

The Course and Tournament Format
The WCC Championships is played at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, Calif., the same course as last season.

The course plays as a par-72 at 6,174 yards.
Eight teams will play 18 holes each day.
