Volleyball Back on Court for Spring Tourney

Cougars play a pair of matches at Cheney Saturday morning.

WOLD'S PRE-WSU CAREER.
Played for Jen Greeny at Lewis-Clark State College for two seasons...leader on Warriors' 2009 and 2010 Frontier Conference Championship teams...LCSC finished 12th at NAIA Championships in 2009 and fifth in 2010...Dean's list Scholar-Athlete with 4.0 GPA in 2010...did not play in 2011 season as she recovered from an injury.

WOLD'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER.
Earned six varsity letters at West Valley High...four as a setter for coach Andrew Wendle (married to former Cougar volleyball player Stacy Hoffman)...two letters as a high jumper and javelin thrower for coaches Rick Kuhl and Jim McLachlan...as a high jumper took eighth place and third place at the state meets and named All-Greater Spokane League as freshman...earned All-Great Northern League MVP honors twice for volleyball and was a two-time all-state honorable mention selection as the Eagles claimed fifth and eighth place state finishes junior and senior years...played on VIP Juniors Volleyball Club team that finished 11th twice at Reno Club Festival.
