WSU CAREER. SOPHOMORE (2002-03): Redshirt for both indoor and outdoor seasons after foot surgery in December 2002.
FRESHMAN (2001-02): Indoor - Top clearance of season was 2.07m/6-9 1/2 for seventh at MPSF Championships (2/23/02, Flagstaff)...Outdoor - Finished fourth at Pac-10 Championships with PR height of 2.15m/7-0 1/2.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned three letters in basketball for coach Eric Swain and two letters in track and field under coach Jim Snelling at McQueen High...ranked 12th-best prep high jumper in Track & Field News national rankings...as a senior was Division Champion in long jump at 21-6 and high jump at 6-10 which set division record...won Regional title in long jump at 22-6 and in high jump at 7-0, for McQueen High record...placed third in state with school record leap of 22-11 in long jump...4A All-Region first team in high jump and long jump...broke 25-year old high jump record at Washoe Relays by clearing 6-8...set Grass Valley meet record at same height...as a junior set division high jump mark with 6-6 clearance...Division and Zone champion with second place finish at state (6-7)...was fourth in Zone long jump...prep basketball career was very heralded...senior year led team in scoring and rebounding...team was Co-Division Champs and tied for third in state his junior season...named to Bellevue (Wash.) Classic all-tourney team...Nevada Prep.Com Classic MVP...first team All-Division 4A, first team all-conference, and all-state honorable mention.
