GENERAL: Was a three-year letterman in baseball under coach John Thacker… also lettered twice as a left tackle on the gridiron... JUNIOR: Played varsity baseball and football… on the diamond was a Greater Spokane League first-team selection… he posted a perfect 9-0 record, striking out 70 in 45 innings… named team MVP and played for the Spokane Heat during the summer… SENIOR: Started his senior year by being selected to play for Washington’s fall touring team and played on a Washington select team that played in the Arizona Senior Fall Classic… posted a 7-1 record with a 2.40 ERA and 80 strikeouts while earning first-team all-GSL… played for the Spokane Heat with teammate Kris White.
