Jason Goodson Named Cougar Soccer Assistant

PULLMAN, Wash. - Jason Goodson has been named an assistant coach for the Washington State University women's soccer team, Cougar Head Coach Matt Potter announced, Tuesday.
"I am delighted to welcome Jason as part of our staff," Potter said. "Jason brings a wealth of knowledge about the game, experience coaching elite players, and an infectious attitude and work ethic."
A native of San Jose, Calif., Goodson holds an A license from the United States Soccer Federation and a premier diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
He has been a staff member and head coach in the Region IV ODP for the last eight years. He served as the head coach and youth division director for the Sereno Soccer Club from June, 2005-March, 2008.
Goodson spent 1996-2005 in various coaching positions throughout Hawaii, including the director of coaching at the Ho'okalakupua Futbol Academy from 1999-2005.
"Jason will assist in all areas of our program, with his primary role being our recruiting coordinator," Potter said. "In the area of recruiting, I am confident Jason will excel. I am excited for our program and student-athletes, and look forward to future successes with Jason on board."
