POSTGAME NOTES

--Washington State used its fifth different starting lineup in seven games this season.

--Cougars used a 14-0 run over 7:04 to take a 43-36 lead with 8:30 remaining in the game.

--San Diego State missed 23 straight shots in the second and 24 of their last 26...Aztecs went from 16:15 until 13.8 seconds remaining without a field goal.

--Washington State's Robbie Cowgill was named the game's most valuable player...sophomore had 12 points and seven rebounds.

--Caleb Forrest scored a season/career-high 10 points...seventh Cougar to score in double figures in game this season.

--Cougars won for the first time in six games went trailing at the half dating back to a 70-63 win at No. 11 Arizona, Jan. 29, 2005 (trailed 34-33).
