Coached by Eugene Alim at Eastlake High, earning two varsity letters in football…also lettered three times in track as a sprinter…JUNIOR year rushed for 960 yards on 118 carries and scored eight touchdowns…also had 320 in receiving yards…track bests included 100m/10.7 and 200m/22.5…as a SENIOR rushed for 1,830 yards on 188 carries…scored 30 touchdowns.

RS-FRESHMAN (2001-02): V-letter…Games - 7…Starts - 0…had at least one carry in each of the seven games he participated in…against Idaho rushed for 40 yards in six carries…had five carries for 15 yards against UCLA…did not see any action in the final three games…earned the following weekly team awards: UCLA/Cougar Claw.
