DAVIS' HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Attended Hinkley High...coached by John Poinder...earned four varsity letters each in football and track and two in basketball...during SOPHOMORE year named to the all-league second team and in track won the State long jump and triple jump competition...as a JUNIOR received all-league first team honors during football season and in track was a repeat champion in the long jump and triple jump competition at the State meet...SENIOR year had 41 carries for 248 yards and six touchdowns and caught 21 passes for 423 yards and seven touchdowns...scored 78 points...named to the all-league first team and was an All-State honorable mention pick...named by the league to the All-State game...state champion in triple and long jump ... his best marks in track include nearly 24 feet in the long jump and nearly 49 feet in the triple jump.
