PULLMAN, Wash. (March 24, 2026) -- Washington State University Head Football Coach Kirby Moore announced Tuesday three additions to his staff in Pullman.
Â
Joining the Cougar program are Neil Fendall (senior defensive analyst), Cadie Christensen (director of recruiting operations) and Xavier Delgado (offensive assistant).
Â
Fendall arrives in Pullman after spending the 2025 season as the safeties coach/pass game coordinator at the University of Idaho. Prior to Idaho, Fendall spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons as the defensive backs coach and special teams coordinator at Linfield (Ore.), his second stint with the Wildcats. He began his collegiate coaching career at Linfield from 2006-2012 where he served as secondary coach. Fendall also coached collegiately at Cal Poly and Southern Oregon.
Â
Christensen arrives in Pullman after spending the past season as the on-campus recruiting operations assistant at Arizona State University. Christensen had spent the previous three years at Arizona State, starting as an intern in the recruiting department and progressed to the lead student intern before moving to a full-time role in May of 2025.
Â
Most recently, Delgado has served as a player personnel assistant for the Missouri football program. Delgado played along the offensive line at Missouri from 2018-23. During his career, Delgado played 58 games for the Tigers, starting each game of his final two seasons. In his final season (2023), was part of offensive line that was named a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award, honoring the most outstanding offensive line units in the nation. He was a member of four bowl teams during his Tiger career.
