Lundgren Competes at NCAA Championships

ATLANTA (March 19, 2026) – Washington State senior Emily Lundgren swam the 100 Breast on day two of the 2026 NCAA Championships Thursday.

Lundgren, a three-time All-American and WSU's first four-time NCAA selection in program history, qualified in the 100 Breast and 200 Breast. The senior from Chula Vista, Calif. will swim the 200 Breast Friday while teammate sophomore Darcy Revitt will compete in the 50 Free Friday and 100 Free Saturday.

In Thursday's 100 Breast prelims, Lundgren posted a 59.83 for No. 27 nationally.

Lundgren is the first four-time NCAA selection in program history after qualifying in the 100 Breast and 200 Breast events, joining Erin Eldridge (1998-2000) as the only other Cougar to earn three trips to the NCAA's. Lundgren owns school records in the 100 Breast (58.83), 200 Breast (2:06.18), 100 Fly (52.60) and 200 IM (1:57.81). Lundgren, who has 18 individual wins this season and 59 for her career, is a three-time All-American after earning honorable mention accolades in the 200 Breast as a sophomore in 2024 and All-America honors in the 200 Breast last year along with honorable mention in the 100 Breast. Last season, Lundgren finished sixth in the 200 Breast at the NCAA Championships for the best finishing by a Cougar at an NCAA Championships in program history.

Revitt, a sophomore from Guildford, England, is making her second straight trip the NCAA Championships after winning the 50 Free and 100 Free events at the Mountain West Championships last month. Revitt was named the Co-Swimmer of the Meet after collected six titles after also helping the 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay and 400 Medley Relay.

Revitt, who now owns the school records in the 50 Free (21.83) and 100 Free (47.45), posted a team-best 20 individual wins this season and earned a trip to the NCAA's last season in the same events.
