PULLMAN, Wash. (February 10, 2026) – Washington State Athletics' Cougar Athletic Fund launched its "Rally Your Region" fundraising campaign.
 
Rally Your Region is a fundraising initiative to promote philanthropic giving to the Cougar Athletic Fund in WSU Football Name, Image, Likeness (NIL). Donations are tax deductible and benefit the Football Excellence Fund.
 
Washington State has been divided into four regions, with a fifth "Out-of-State" region. When making a gift, donors will select a region, creating a friendly competition among Cougar fans and alumni. 
 
"Rally Your Region is a new CAF initiative we're launching," WSU Interim Director of Athletics Jon Haarlow said. "By uniting our community and actively supporting name, image and likeness efforts, we're providing Coach Moore and our football program with the resources we need to compete in the new Pac-12."

Rally Your Region is a Washington State University Football NIL Match Campaign, managed by the Cougar Athletic Fund, designed to support the evolving needs of WSU Football through philanthropic giving. All gifts to this campaign support the Football Excellence Fund, giving Head Coach Kirby Moore the flexibility to address the program's most critical priorities.
 
In today's college football landscape, Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) support is essential. It plays a major role in attracting and retaining top talent, strengthening the roster, and ensuring WSU Football remains competitive in the Pac-12 and on the national stage. Our ambitious goal is to raise $2.5 million in 2026, and we're making that goal tangible by tapping into regional Coug pride. Washington State has been divided into four regions, with an additional Out-of-State region, creating five teams within Coug Nation. Each region has its own fundraising target, and the race is on to see who can hit their goal first.
 
Along the way, key milestones will unlock matching gifts, amplifying the impact of every dollar given. Regions that reach their targets will trigger additional support for WSU Football, helping us move faster and further together.

When a region reaches $100,000 raised, it will unlock a $25,000 matching gift, boosting that region's total to $125,000. Every region is eligible. To raise the stakes, an additional $25,000 match will be awarded to the first two regions to hit the $100,000 milestone.
 
Donors who give $25,000 or more throughout the campaign will be given the opportunity to name a new WSU Football locker during the current renovation (limited availability). Gifts of $25,000 may be made immediately or fulfilled through a signed pledge over one to five years.
