PULLMAN, Wash. (Jan. 10, 2026) – Washington State University Head Football Coach
Kirby Moore Saturday announced four additions to his first staff in Pullman, including running backs coach
Justin Green.
"Coach Green has tremendous experience and brings a great track record as a teacher of the game and getting the most out of his players," said Moore. "He is a proven recruiter and developer of talent. I look forward to seeing what he will accomplish with our running backs here in Pullman."
In addition to Green, joining the Cougar program will be
Andy Belluomini (assistant quarterbacks coach),
Kyra Shea (director of football operations) and
Skip Velotta (assistant director for football athletic performance).
Below are brief overviews for the new staff members:
Justin Green – Running Backs: Has spent his entire career in the Pacific Northwest, serving as running backs coach/recruiting coordinator at his alma mater, Montana, for the past 14 seasons… During his time in Missoula, the Grizzlies reached the FCS Payoffs nine times, playing in the championship game in 2023 and the semifinals in 2025… was a two-year starter at Montana before playing four years in the NFL with Baltimore and Arizona.
Andy Belluomini – Assistant Quarterbacks Coach: Has spent the past three seasons in a similar capacity at Missouri working with
Kirby Moore…served as quarterbacks coach at Illinois State from 2020-22, while also working at South Carolina and Florida in quality control/analyst roles…. Received his physical education degree from Boise State in 2010, where he worked as a student assistant on both the offensive (2005-09) and defensive (2009-10) sides of the ball for the Broncos.
Kyra Shea – Director of Football Operations: Shea has spent the past two seasons as director of football operations at Weber State…during the 2022 season, she served as UNLV's executive assistant to the head coach and assistant director of football operations. ..from 2019-22, Shea was an administrative and operations assistant at Air Force…has also spent time in on-campus recruiting positions at Northern Colorado and her alma mater, Colorado State.
Skip Velotta – Assistant Director of Football Athletic Performance: Arrives at Washington State after spending the previous year completing a strength and conditioning internship with LSU Football…also served a similar internship with Iowa football in 2024…spent four years as a safety at Notre Dame, seeing action in 27 games…also played one year at LSU…received his undergraduate degree in political science and government from Notre Dame, and his master's in kinesiology and exercise science from LSU.
